Below is a list of 2010 Codes that have been implemented by Keepsake Homes.
-Carbon Monoxide Alarms for all homes with an attached garage or fossil fuel heat system
-R-21 batted insulation in a 2x6 wall with Huber Zip Board
-Houses will be more air tight as per a code inspection
-Arc fault circuit breakers in panel box
-Tamper resistant outlets
-50% of all lights must have "high efficacy lighting"
2011 Building Codes:2011 Building Codes will require each new home to have a fire sprinkler system installed in it.
This will increase the cost of a new home considerably.
